Edwards & Ragatz, P.A. is pleased to welcome Attorney Jennie Edwards Tyler as the newest member of our trial team!
An experienced trial lawyer and passionate advocate, Jennie earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management from Florida Gulf Coast University and her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, she held internships with the Office of the State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit and served as a Law Clerk for a civil trial firm in Gainesville.
Prior to joining our firm, Jennie spent several years working as an Assistant State Attorney for the State Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville. As a Prosecutor, she litigated a variety of misdemeanor, juvenile, special assault, and homicide cases at trial, and gained extensive experience communicating and consulting with crime victims on issues arising from criminal cases.
Jennie’s trial experience and compassionate approach to guiding victims through unfamiliar legal processes have allowed her to transition seamlessly to plaintiffs’ work, where she now prosecutes civil claims on behalf of clients who’ve suffered life-altering injuries and losses and who are often forced to face off against powerful adversaries and insurance companies. Fortunately, her experience handling complex and highly consequential cases allows her to advocate effectively for victims in even the most challenging civil cases.
